LINTHICUM, MD, July 28, 2017 — NFM Lending, a mortgage lending company, is pleased to announce the new location of their corporate headquarters at 1190 Winterson Road, Suite 300, Linthicum, MD 21090. All branch locations across the United States will remain unchanged.

The move comes as the result of rapid growth in recent years. Since 2015, NFM Lending has nearly doubled in size, and has expanded into the Midwest and western United States, adding branches in Ohio, Colorado, and Arizona.

LINTHICUM, MD, March 23, 2017— NFM Lending is pleased to celebrate the one year anniversary of its NFM Salute program.

NFM Salutes is an initiative in which one military service member or Veteran is chosen each month to be honored as the “Salute of the Month.” The “Salute of the Month” is then featured on the website with a brief biography and information about his or her service, and NFM Lending makes a $2,500 donation to one of the following four non-profits in the Salute’s name: Platoon 22, AnySoldier, Soldier’s Wish, and the Gary Sinise Foundation. LINTHICUM, MD, September 8, 2016— During the month of August, NFM Lending matched donations made by employees to the Ellicott City Partnership, a nonprofit supporting rebuilding efforts in Ellicott City, Maryland, after the flooding that took place in July.

On July 30, 2016, Ellicott City experienced severe floods that destroyed stores, buildings, and homes along Main Street. The area received six inches of rainfall in less than two hours, causing the river to overflow, sweeping cars away and causing major destruction. All residents of the area were evacuated, and many lost everything that they had.

“The devastation in Ellicott City hits extremely close to home for NFM,” said Bob Tyson, COO/CAO of NFM Lending. “I am fortunate enough to be a part of a team that loves being involved in the community. This is about more than just ‘giving back’ though; this is about restoring stability to the lives of everyone affected. I am humbled by the support offered thus far, and I hope NFM’s match will encourage more people to donate.”

The Ellicott City Partnership is a local nonprofit whose mission is “to preserve the heritage and vitality of Historic Ellicott City while enhancing and creating economic growth.” The organization is currently dedicated to supporting Ellicott City businesses and residents as they work to rebuild their community.

LINTHICUM, MD, July 1, 2016— NFM Lending is pleased to honor Barry Wyllie as the NFM Salute for July 2016.

Barry Wyllie grew up in Dunedin, Florida where he graduated from Dunedin High School in 1995. Following in both his father and grandfather’s footsteps, he enlisted the United States Army as a combat medic, where after graduating from airborne school, was assigned to the 2-505^th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82^nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Throughout his 4½ -year enlistment, Wyllie rose through the ranks to a Sergeant/E-5, serving as a senior line medic with training deployments to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and later to Haiti for 9 months in 1999, in support of Operation Uphold Democracy. After 54 successful airborne parachute operations, Wyllie ended his initial enlistment term with an honorable discharge in 2000.

Wyllie now resides in the Boston, Massachusetts area with his wife, Nancy, and three kids, Ashton, Brayden, and Alexis. He is a Branch Manager for NFM Lending in Raynham, Massachusetts, where he takes great pride in helping fellow Veterans understand and utilize their earned benefits for home ownership. Wyllie was nominated by his fellow Branch Manager, Bill Driscoll.

“Barry takes great pride in everything he does, and is constantly trying to help others be the best they can be,” said Driscoll. “One of Barry’s favorite quotes from Lt. Col. Hal Moore is ‘American soldiers in battle don’t fight for what some president says on TV, they don’t fight for mom, apple pie, or the American flag…they fight for one another.’ Barry’s military background has helped him become a determined and focused businessman, while also being a great father, husband, and friend willing to go the extra mile for anyone.”
