LINTHICUM, MD, April 9, 2021 — NFM Lending and its family of companies, including Main Street Home Loans, Bluprint Home Loans, and Freedmont Mortgage Group, are proud to announce 96 of its loan originators have been ranked on the Scotsman Guide Top Originators 2021 lists, with four recognized among the leaders.

Each year, Scotsman Guide recognizes the nation’s top producing mortgage loan originators. Originators can be ranked in any of ten categories, including Top Dollar Volume, Most Loans Closed, and Top Purchase Volume. Each set of rankings is thoroughly audited, making Scotsman Guide the mortgage industry’s “most intensely reviewed, accurate and substantiated rankings of its kind.” New this year will be how the categories are released. Each month will be a different category, starting this month with Top Dollar Volume and Most Loans Closed.

Oleg Tkach, out of Lynnwood, WA, made the Top Dollar Volume Category, along with Jessica Uphoff (Westminster, CO) and Jane Floyd (Tampa, FL). Tkach ranked #106 out of 7536 in the category, with Uphoff at #249 and Floyd at #293. Tkach and Floyd also made the Most Loans Closed category, along with Daniel Sa, out of Columbus, OH. Tkach ranked #103 out of 10649, Floyd at #211, and Sa at #231.

To be considered,entrants must either have done at least $40 million in loan volume, or personally closed 100 home loans in the 2020 calendar year. In 2020, Tkach did over $302 million in volume and closed 826 loans; Uphoff did over $220 million and closed 567 loans; Floyd had nearly $208.9 million and closed 662 loans; and Sa closed 638 loans.

LINTHICUM, MD, April 5, 2021—NFM Lending is proud to sponsor the Ronald McDonald House Charities Maryland (RMHCMD) 10^th annual Red Shoe Shuffle 5k Run and Walk. The event will take place on Saturday, April 10, 2021. This will be the tenth year in a row that NFM Lending has sponsored and participated in this incredible event.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities Maryland is an organization that provides a cost-free ‘home away from home’ for seriously ill children and their families while undergoing treatment. They also work with and help fund programs in the local area that directly improve the well-being of children. Since 1982, the RMHCMD has housed more than 40,000 families from around the world. Money raised from events like the Red Shoe Shuffle has provided RMHCMD the means to build a larger facility to increase the number of families they are able to house, with more than 2,400 families coming through their doors every year. This year’s event will go towards the purchase of a new shuttle, which is used to safely move families to/from the House and to important doctor’s appointments around Baltimore.

NFM Lending is committed to giving back to the communities they live and work in, and the RMHCMD is one of the key charities they support.

LINTHICUM, MD, December 31, 2020— NFM Lending is proud to continue its partnership with Toys for Tots this holiday season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NFM’s donation was monetary. From November 30^th to December 15^th, employees raised money to donate towards the purchase of toys for under privileged children. This year, NFM Lending provided their local chapter, Anne Arundel County Toys for Tots, with $6,405.00.

“Giving back to the community is a part of who we are at NFM Lending. As a part of our NFM C.A.R.E.S. program, we focus on the development and wellbeing of children,” said Liz Snead, Human Resources Generalist Team Lead. “We are proud to partner with Toys for Tots again this year to make the holiday season a little brighter for the children of families in need.”

On Monday, November 23, 2020, NFM Lending completed its 13th annual “Support Our Troops Drive,” sending 250 care packages to 125 groups of U.S. soldiers stationed overseas. With the help of Any Soldier® we were able to connect with soldiers to see what items they requested. Groups were sent two care packages: one with toiletries and one with snacks. Both included hand-written letters provided by NFM family members. The packages were sent to soldiers around the world, including: Kuwait, Germany, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Mali, South Korea, Djibouti, Egypt, and Japan.

Since 2008, NFM Lending has sent over 1,750 packages to our service members stationed overseas. We are proud to support the courageous men and women who serve our country and wish them a safe and happy holiday season.

LINTHICUM, MD, October 28, 2020 — NFM Lending is pleased to announce that it has received the 2020 George B. Vashon Innovator Award by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA). The award was accepted by NFM General Counsel, LaTasha Rowe during the MCCA’s “Creating Pathways to Diversity Conference” held virtually on October 27, 2020.

The MCCA is the premier source of research and knowledge on diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. The annual award, named for George B. Vashon, the first African American attorney licensed in New York and first admitted to practice in front of the Supreme Court, is given to companies that show a commitment to hiring and advancing diverse attorneys.
