Alex did an awesome job! Especially in the early stages of the process.
But when it was handed over to the "processor" Mike Robbins is when the stress started. After two weeks into the process and after submitting all that was asked from us in the beginning, Mike asked for a "transcript" of our 2022 taxes from the IRS. He provided the link and I started the process. After two days and several hours online, I was unable to get them. I was very frustrated with this process and his request. I remembered that during other transactions we never had to do this, the processor handled it.
After speaking with our company's accountant, he recommended that I advise Mike to file the "IRS 4506-T form” to get his transcript request completed. This is the standard procedure.
I emailed Mike and asked has he filed the IRS 4506-T form? His response was, he will and nothing further would be required from us. We really did not need the added stress his request created. And it seemed very "ODD" that I would have to tell a processor what to do as he should have known.
What started off perfect with Alex ended up leaving a bad taste. If it was me, I would promote Alex to Mike's position for a smoother transaction with future customers.
Overall, I would still recommend Keller Home Loans and tell them to contact Alex.
