Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House is a place where the parents of children that are in a nearby hospital can stay at night for reduced or no cost. The first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1974. Currently, there are 271 Ronald McDonald Houses operating in 30 countries. The study showed that Ronald McDonald House was ranked as the 2nd "most popular charity/non-profit in America" of over 100 charities researched with 50% of Americans over the age of 12 choosing Love and like a lot for Ronald McDonald House.

NFM donates $10 to the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore for every Maryland loan that is closed by Corporate Employees

NFM, Inc. is proud to announce that on June 11, 2010 they will host a Casino Night to Benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore. The event will be held in the Calvert Ballroom at the BWI Sheraton/Westin in Linthicum, MD. Tickets are $60.00 per person and include a gourmet buffet dinner, beer, wine, and soda. A cash bar will also be available. There will be casino tables, 50/50 raffles, silent auctions, door prizes, and a DJ. All proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore.

Maryland SPCA

The Maryland SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is a private, nonprofit, independent organization dedicated to helping animals. Their mission is to improve the lives of pets in the community by fostering healthy animal-human relationships. Animals in MD SPCA care receive high-quality food, necessary medications and vaccinations, and enrichment to make them well-adjusted and ready to be welcomed into a new home.

NFM employees recently created a pack for the MD SPCA walk on April 19th to help homeless animals. The march for the animals is the MD SPCA’s annual 1.5 mile walk-a-thon for needy and homeless animals. NFM employees who created a pack for the walk raised $1,011 (well above $500 set as the goal) for MD SPCA.

Any Soldier ® Show Your Support for Our Troops

Any Soldier® Inc. started in August 2003 by Sergeant Brian Horn from LaPlata, Maryland as a simple family effort to help the soldiers in one Army unit has expanded to include any member of the Armed Forces in harm's way.
